Kat Carter is an elite pitcher whose career is defined by dominance in the circle and consistent high-level achievement. A standout at Spring Hill High School, she earned 2021 District 11-AAA MVP honors and led the state with 306 strikeouts, finishing her prep career with 312.1 innings pitched, 526 strikeouts, a 0.893 WHIP, and a 1.52 ERA. Carter went on to pitch collegiately for Jacksonville State University, where she quickly became one of the conference’s premier arms, earning ASUN Freshman of the Year, ASUN All-Freshman Team, C-USA All-Tournament Team, 2× Pitcher of the Week, and 2× Commissioner’s Academic Medal honors. She finished her JSU career with an impressive 43 wins, cementing her legacy as one of the program’s most impactful pitchers.
