Kat Carter brings an accomplished pitching background and high-level collegiate experience to Showtime Sports Academy. A standout at Spring Hill High School, Kat was named the 2021 District 11-AAA MVP after leading the state with 306 strikeouts. She finished her high school career with 526 strikeouts over 312.1 innings pitched, a 1.52 ERA, and an impressive 0.893 WHIP. Kat continued her career at Jacksonville State University, where she earned ASUN Freshman of the Year and ASUN All-Freshman Team honors, was selected to the CUSA All-Tournament Team, earned Pitcher of the Week twice, and received the Commissioner’s Academic Medal twice. She finished her Jacksonville State career with 43 wins. Kat now brings that competitive experience and pitching knowledge to Showtime, where she is passionate about helping young softball players develop strong mechanics, confidence in the circle, and the mindset needed to compete at a high level.
