Nic grew up in the Nashville area and was a very accomplished amateur player. Correll attended both Nashville Christian along with playing for the Knights Academy team throughout his high school campaign. During those years he racked up impressive numbers and accolades. Correll started on varsity all four years he attended, along with leading his Knights team his senior year in batting average, doubles, and RBI’s as a hitter, along with leading the team in strikeouts and ERA as a pitcher. He was ranked in the top 10 in Perfect Game rankings in Tennessee which included being a Perfect Game All American 3 years straight. After high school. Nick attended and played at Cleveland State Community College. Correll currently coaches the 8U and 15U Tucci team here at HoJo.
